A neighborhood block like no other recently made its way to Anythink Wright Farms. Parents and children took part in an 8-week program designing and filling their own dollhouses from scratch. With help from The Studio staff, the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys and Jackie Drummond of Interwoven LLC, they made their own bedding, furniture, plumbing, dolls and more. The results were every bit as creative and unique as the families who crafted them.

Heads up for visitors to Anythink Thornton Community Center.

The Thornton Community Center will be closed May 18–25 for routine maintenance — but the Anythink Thornton Community Center Library and The Studio will remain open.

Here’s what to expect during that week:

- Library services: business as usual, as much as possible
- Alternate entrance required after 5 p.m. daily and all day Saturday, May 23
- Use the southwest corner entrance. Signs will guide you.
- Book drop may be temporarily blocked at times, in which case items can still be returned inside
- Possible temporary power and water outages may affect services or hours

The library will follow its regular schedule, including a planned closure on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.

For the latest updates on hours or possible service impacts, please check our website before your visit.

We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to welcoming you throughout the week.
