It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter, but the shutdown in response to COVID-19 had greater impact on our small business than we anticipated, and unfortunately Frolic Playspace will not re-open once the ban is lifted.
Frolic was one of the first businesses to feel the results of the virus, and would be the last type of business to get back to normal operation due to the fact that it depends entirely on social attendance and gathering of groups on a daily basis.
It has been an honor and a pleasure serving your families these past three years, we want to thank each one of our customers (little and big). We reached many wonderful families, but unfortunately not enough to carry us though the unprecedented pandemic. Frolic’s debt and lack of revenue prevents us from being able to continue in business and have filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.
Even though we requested it, City, State and Federal help did not come in time to help us get through and we were left with no other option.
A trustee has been appointed to liquidate all of Frolic’s property to try to pay back creditors and outstanding accounts. We apologize deeply that there simply aren’t any funds left to refund any passes or deposits. The bankruptcy court will decide which creditors get paid first.
An online auction has been setup and anyone can bid on any items, including the large play structure, toys, playhouse and furniture. If you are interested in bidding or know anyone who plans to open an indoor playground the link for the auction is:

I would like to leave you all on a positive note and recognize that many amazing memories were made, many amazing moments were celebrated and many friendships started and developed during the time we served our community.
We will miss those smiling faces, and watching your littles grow up and become amazing people.
