In fact, the turnout was so incredible that next year we may need to move the performance into the large gym!

A huge shout out to Ms. Bell for taking our choir program to new heights. She is a phenomenal instructor, and our scholars shined all evening long. ROYAL PRIDE was on full display at Quist Middle School as we hosted our very first full school pep assembly, and what an incredible way to celebrate our scholars, athletes, staff, and community! πŸ‘‘πŸ’™πŸ’›

A HUGE shoutout goes to our Athletic Director, Henry Berner, for organizing and leading an absolutely phenomenal event from start to finish. The energy in the gym was electric, and the entire assembly was a first-class celebration of what it means to be a Royal. Henry poured countless hours into making this happen, and it showed in every detail. Outstanding work!

Throughout the assembly, we recognized every athletic team from the fall, winter, and spring seasons and celebrated the accomplishments of our student-athletes. Each team also honored an MVP who represented the dedication, leadership, and heart of their squad.

One of the biggest moments of the day was raising the banner for our Girls A team Volleyball Championship team! What an incredible accomplishment and a proud moment for our school community.

We also had the privilege of retiring the number of Brihanna Crittendon and welcoming her back to celebrate with us. A truly special moment that our scholars will remember for years to come.

The excitement, school spirit, and positive energy from our students were absolutely contagious. Our staff did a phenomenal job helping organize, supervise, and support the event, making sure everything ran smoothly and safely. It was an incredible way to finish the day together as Royals.

To make the day even more special, we kicked off the assembly by celebrating one of the very best in 27J. Superintendent Will Pierce and HR Director Heath Wilson joined us to honor Kim Thoms as the 27J Classified Award Winner! Kim is such an important part of Quist Middle School and impacts our scholars and staff in countless ways every single day. This recognition is beyond well deserved!

Last night, we had the honor of celebrating an incredible group of scholars during our National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony!

The National Junior Honor Society recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. These scholars not only excel in the classroom, but they also lead by example, serve others, and work each day to make our school and community a better place.

We are so proud of each and every student inducted into NJHS. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to doing things the right way truly represent what it means to be a Royal. We know you will continue to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and inspire others around you.

A huge shout out and thank you to Ms. Cleveland, the sponsor and supervisor of our National Junior Honor Society chapter, for her leadership, commitment, and the time she pours into supporting our scholars and helping them grow as leaders.

Congratulations to our newest NJHS members and their families on this outstanding accomplishment! The future is bright for these amazing scholars. Rodger Quist Middle School PTA 27J Schools

What an awesome two days welcoming in our newest Royals for next year from Westridge Elementary and Brantner Elementary! We had an incredible time learning all about RISE and ROAR while building excitement for middle school and the Royal experience ahead.

A huge shout out to Mr. Miller and our amazing Leaders of the Pride (LOPs)! These outstanding student leaders serve as mentors for our incoming sixth graders, helping guide, support, and connect with them throughout the entire year. From sixth grade orientation to regular check-ins and encouragement, our LOPs truly take our newest Royals under their wing to ensure every student feels welcomed, supported, and part of the Quist family.

Dear Quist Families,

We will host an all-school athletic pep assembly at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26. In order to allow all staff to attend the assembly and minimize disruptions, student checkouts will end at 3:15 p.m. No students will be checked out after 3:15 p.m. for any reason until the conclusion of the school day.

If your child must leave early, please plan to pick them up prior to 3:15 p.m. Otherwise, students will remain in class and attend the assembly through the end of the school day.

What an absolutely phenomenal three-day run of The Little Mermaid!

Our actors and actresses lit up the stage with talent, confidence, and passion, while our backstage crew and stage team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make every scene, transition, and moment come to life. The amount of teamwork, dedication, and commitment on display was truly inspiring.

A very special thank you goes out to Ms. Bell for the countless hours she poured into making this production a next-level experience for our students, families, and community. From long Mondays setting up stage equipment to rehearsals, organization, and preparation, her dedication to our Royals was on full display every step of the way.

Thank you as well to all of the parents, staff, and community members who supported this production and helped create unforgettable memories for our students.

This was more than a performance. It was a celebration of creativity, teamwork, perseverance, and excellence.

We are so proud of our Royals!

What an awesome week of learning, growth, and engagement at Quist Middle School. Our teachers continue to lean in each and every day, finding ways to challenge, inspire, and connect with our scholars. Our students are continuing to lean in as well, showing resilience, effort, and pride in their learning as we close out the school year.

A huge thank you to our parents and families for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. It truly takes all of us working together to help our Royals succeed.

As we head into the final stretch, remember this: how you finish is how you will start next year. Let’s continue to finish strong, support one another, and make every moment count.
