πŸš’ Tonight for our weekly drill night, 15 of our volunteers gathered at an acquired structure to train on initial fireground and company operations while operating with limited-staffed apparatus.

Members trained on:
πŸ”₯ Incident command
πŸ”₯ Scene size-ups
πŸ”₯ Deployment and advancement of handlines
πŸ”₯ Aggressive search and rescue with victim removals
πŸ”₯ Forcible entry
πŸ”₯ Ground ladders and roof operations
πŸ”₯ Water supply operations utilizing booster tank backup
πŸ”₯ Estate lay operations for long setback structures inaccessible to larger firefighting apparatus

This training was extremely beneficial for everyone involved, with experience levels ranging from over 25 years of service to members with just 2 months on the department. Continuous training like this strengthens our skills, teamwork, and preparedness to better serve our community.

If you would like to be part of what we have going on, we would be glad to have you join us.
