Early Wednesday morning, Engine 33-4 was dispatched to cover Readington Fire, Station 32, while they and other departments worked to put out a massive fire at Red Rock Preserve. While en route, they were upgraded to assist with operations. Engine 33-4 supplied TL 52 with water while they operated. Well done to all involved and thanks to everyone who worked hard to suppress this fire.

Yesterday morning approx. 0530hrs RVFC was dispatched to the Red Rock Preserve for a reported fire. With the confirmed multiple callers Chief 32 requested the first alarm to be transmitted. On arrival Chief 32 confirmed working fire on the rear of the structure with extension into the attic area. Squad 32 arrived first due stretched an 1.75 line into the confirmed fire unit and secured a water supply. Crews from North Branch and Country Hills arrived and stretched additional attack lines to exposure units and rear as Ladder 49 setup an aerial master stream. Additional master streams were setup with Ladder 36 (Flagtown) and Tower 52 (Raritan Boro). Once the bulk of the fire was knocked handlines and crews redeployed to the units to hit accessible hot spots. EMS on scene for fire and residents was handled by the Branchburg Rescue, Whitehouse, and South Branch EMS. Branchburg Police controlled the scene, provided drone support while Branchburg OEM and Branchburg Township administration worked with residents and Red Cross to assist the displaced. This response was a true team effort with additional units from surrounding towns and counties responding to the scene and providing regional cover assignments. We thank everyone for the support of our first responders and please keep those families affected in your thoughts and prayers. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutors Office. A Special Thank You to the Bagel Garden for donating bagels for the units working on scene.

🚒❄️ See a hydrant? Shovel it out!
Fire hydrants buried in snow slow firefighters down when seconds matter. If you’re already outside, take a minute to clear the hydrant near your home—it could save a life.
And please, if you don’t have to be out, stay home until the roads are safe to travel. Fewer cars = safer roads for everyone.
Thanks for being a great neighbor ❤️

This past Saturday, the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company held our annual officer installation banquet. At this event, we looked back on 2025, celebrated the successes of our membership, swore in our new officers, remembered those we lost in 2025 and recognized those that have gone above and beyond within the department.

We are very grateful to our community for the support this past year and look forward to many more years of giving back to the great community of Three Bridges and Readington Township!

Congratulations to all of the new officers and our awarded members, including Bruce Evans who has achieved 50 years of service with the department! If you see Bruce around town, be sure to thank him and congratulate him for his service.
