Borrowed from Bozeman Fire, but the same applies out here:
Fire season isn’t waiting this year—and neither should we. 🔥
A few early starts mean it’s time to get serious about staying safe.
Let’s start some important reminders you don’t want to miss. 👇

Flying a drone near a wildfire might seem harmless—but it can actually put lives at risk. 🚫🚁
When drones enter fire zones, firefighting aircraft are often forced to ground operations to avoid collisions. That delay can allow fires to spread faster, putting firefighters, communities, and wildlife in greater danger.
⚠️ If you see smoke or an active wildfire, keep your drone grounded.
🚨 Let emergency crews do their job safely and without interruption.
If you fly, they can’t.
Please help protect aerial operations and those who are working to protect us. 🔥
