Staff from Three Oaks Ambulance and Fire will be manning their stations from 10am until 2pm today. We are here to answer questions and help educate those wanting to know more about the Millage Proposal that is coming up for a vote in August. Please stop by and see us with questions or just to visit under much better circumstances than when we usually get to see each other.

The Tornado Warning has expired. We remain under a Tornado watch still until 2am. Continue to stay safe tonight everyone.

If you are in Three Oaks or Galien you should be seeking shelter now. The National Weather Service has extended the warning until 10:15 and specifically identified these areas as possibly in danger of damage at this time.

The National Weather Service has now issued a tornado warning until 9:45. The storm has intensified. Now would be a good time to collect pets and children if you have them and move twords an interior room or basement. We are now staffing stations with manpower in preparation to respond if necessary.

The storm headed our way has now caused the National Weather Service to issue Tornado Watch for our area until 2am. We will provide updates when we receive notification from our dispatch center as they are notified quickly from the National Weather Service. Please take a moment to ensure your weather shelter is prepared for your arrival incase the storm intensifies.

For the month of May, TOEVA received 51 calls for service bringing our annual call total for 2026 to 184. We continue to operate as the last volunteer medical transport service in Berrien County. We are always looking for individuals interested in helping serve the people in our great community in their times of need. As summer begins, please keep in mind the need for blood donations. This is the time of year blood banks begin to use up stock and shortages begin.

Update:
Last nights storm intensified around 12:45am and became a Tornado Warned storm with rotation observed in the cloud formations according to the weather service. Your Three Oaks Fire and Three Oaks EMS services responded to their stations to prepare for the possibility of a tornado. The storm passed quickly. The only observation in our area was heavy rain. All personal were able to clear their stations after the storm settled which only took about 30 minutes. We did not receive any requests for service during that time.
