Share Your Story: Tornado of 2026
Come join us at the Three Rivers Public Library on June 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM (EDT)

The Library is creating a local history archive to document our community's experiences during the tornado of 2026. We invite residents to contribute written personal accounts that reflect their experiences, challenges, and stories of resilience. Submissions will be preserved in the Michigan Room as part of a permanent historical collection. Sharing your story is completely voluntary, and contributions of any length are welcome!

We are looking for either written or typed narratives/reflections or messages you would like future generations to understand. We are open to stories about where you were when the tornado occurred, what you experienced during the storm, how it affected you, your family, or your property, and acts of kindness, community support, or resilience you witnessed.

The project will help future generations better understand this significant event and the strength of our community. Thank you for helping us preserve our history!

Walk-ins are welcome or sign up @ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/share-your-story-tornado-of-2026-registration-1990106778948?aff=oddtdtcreator
