Palmer Monson Family Network The PMFN is open and FREE to families living in Palmer, Monson, and neighboring towns.

The Palmer Monson Family Network is a Collaborative for Educational Services program funded by the MA Dept of Early Education and Care. We are open to all families living in Palmer, Monson and surrounding communities with children birth through age 8. ALL of our playgroups and programs are FREE - there are no income or developmental requirements to participate.

When children hear stories, join conversations, and encounter new ideas, their brains form important connections that build knowledge and support future learning.

🧠 Smith College is looking for families with rising kindergarteners for the SPARK Study this summer in Northampton. The study looks at how brain activity between children and caregivers aligns during play, using a cap that measures activity with light. Participants play games together over two sessions at Smith College, with a follow-up six months later. Families are compensated for their time.
