Throckmorton County is seeing impacts from the storm that rolled through last night. I’ve attached the iStat QR codes for anyone that is wishing to report storm damages that occurred. The iSTAT QR Code attachment is for the public to utilize to help make us aware of your damages.
As stated above, please use the QR code to report any damage you would like us to be aware of.
There is a how to video in the QR Codes and they can follow these guidelines:
-Contact your insurance company, if you have one, and let them know you’ve been affected by disaster
-Report any damage ASAP to your local officials. This helps officials understand how many are impacted and next steps they need to take.
-You can self report damage by filling out this survey called the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iStat), this helps officials identify community needs and resources, you may also be able to request volunteer clean-up support if available.
-When prompted to add photos of damages on the survey, ensure that you are showing damage of the interior and exterior to the main residence and not personal items. -Photos must show damage to the main building of the residence only, this does not include fences, yards, or sheds.
