The brush pile at the old school lot will remain open through this weekend. This will be closed again on 6/22/26 Please plan clean up efforts accordingly.

A 1 block section of Filmore will be closed again today for tree removal. This is a safety measure for the public. Please plan to go around the block accordingly. There may also be removal today on the south side of East street and the north side of Hester.

Part of Filmore will be closed today for safety reasons while a tree is being removed. Please plan to go around the block due this closure.

It's that time of year to get signed up for the Backpack Program with the Thurman Methodist Church!!! This program is to help parents get school supplies to their children. To sign up you can pick up the forms from Thurman Post Office or city hall. Please have all your forms turned into either the church or they can be dropped off at Thurman City Hall by no later than June 30th.

Due to this morning’s storm and all the damage around town the brush pile will be open for City of Thurman residents to use.

Due to last nights storm the brush pile up at the old school lot will be open to Thurman residents until the end of the weekend. This is for residents from the City of Thurman within the city limits.
