It's time for another ! Imagine having your cake and voting too? Way back in the 18th century, colonial women baked these massive cakes—historically weighing up to 12 pounds—to feed crowds, celebrate democracy, and encourage men to travel long distances to vote. Because women did not have the right to vote at the time, baking and distributing the cakes served as an important way for them to participate in civic and political culture.

Who votes that we reinstate the tradition of Election Day Cake?! 😉🍰🗳️🇺🇸
