Summer EBT is Back! Summer EBT provides $120 of extra grocery benefits to children (like yours!) over the summer, when kids aren't getting the meals they usually eat at school. It is available to families who could use support buying food. Most eligible children are automatically enrolled in Summer EBT, but some will need to apply. Visit sebt.ohio.gov

That's a wrap on our 13th Annual Protective Services 5K!

We are so thankful for the support of our community and partners who came out and took great strides to step towards awareness and prevention of child abuse and neglect! Although the weather prevented us from being outside, we loved using Frann's Fieldhouse and are grateful to Heidelberg University and Heidelberg University Athletics! Our sponsors stepped up once again and we couldn't do this without them! Thank you to Arnold Vending, Walmart Tiffin, Viewpoint Graphics Inc., Ballreich Snack Food Company, Hempy Water, and Tiffin University!!

Please note that our building will be closed tomorrow (Thursday 4/23/26) due to County Maintenance servicing our HVAC Equipment. Our employees are still accessible via email while working to help those within the Community. We plan to have the building itself open again during our normal business hours on Friday (4/24/26). In partnership with the Seneca County JFS, we will host a Job & Resource Fair to support employees of Toledo Molding & Die (TMD).

The two-day event will take place in a large tent located in the TMD parking lot on Thursday, April 23 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, April 24 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This event is designed to connect more than 350 TMD employees directly with companies that are actively hiring, while also providing access to important resources through the State of Ohio’s Rapid Response program. Employees will also receive a comprehensive information packet that includes a directory of participating employers and available support services to help facilitate direct connections.

Work to support a potential sale of the TMD facility remains active, and we continue to be confident in those efforts. This event reflects a proactive approach to ensure employees have immediate access to opportunities and resources, while we continue working toward a long-term solution for the facility.

This effort brings together local, regional, and state partners, along with employers ready to step up, demonstrating the strength of our workforce and the support systems in place across Seneca County.

Employers must register by 12:00 PM on Monday, April 20 to be included in the employee information packet and are asked to participate both days to ensure engagement with all shifts.
