Congratulations to Frankart Power Line Services and RKR Traffic Control on their new headquarters!

Today, we celebrated with a ribbon cutting at their new facility, located at 1778 West County Road 54 in Tiffin. It was a great opportunity to recognize Brett Frankart and the team behind both companies as they take this next step in their growth.

There is something special about seeing someone from Seneca County build their business and continue to grow right here at home. Brett and his team’s commitment to this community is something we are proud to celebrate.

The new 40,000-square-foot headquarters brings their field and office operations together, giving both companies the space to better support their employees, serve their customers, and plan for the future. Their expansion includes plans for more than 20 additional full-time positions, including linemen, corporate staff, and traffic control team members.

From power line construction and maintenance to storm response and keeping crews and drivers safe around work zones, these teams do important work in communities across the region and beyond.

We are proud to have worked alongside Brett, Regional Growth Partnership Northwest Ohio, JobsOhio, and our local partners to support this project, with construction led by Clouse Construction Corp.

The new 40,000-square-foot headquarters represents a $5 million investment in Seneca County and an exciting milestone in the continued growth of both companies. The facility brings field and administrative operations together under one roof, providing additional space to support expanding operations and future growth. The investment also brings new opportunities to the local workforce, with plans to create more than 20 full-time jobs between the two companies.

Men on Main Street is coming to Tiffin! 🎥

We're excited to welcome Guy in the 419 and the Burger review guy to Tiffin today as they explore our community for their collaborative social media series, Men on Main Street!

During their visit, they'll be exploring Downtown Tiffin, stopping by several Chamber & Development member businesses, and experiencing some of the local restaurants, shops, and hidden gems that make our community special. From great food and unique shopping to the people behind our local businesses, we're excited for them to showcase what makes Tiffin and Seneca County a great place to visit, shop, dine, and explore!

Opportunities like this are a great way to shine a spotlight on our community and the local businesses that make it thrive. We're proud to work together to help share their stories, promote all that our community has to offer, and welcome new visitors to experience it for themselves. Old Fort Banking Company is once again giving back to the community through its Annual Coat Drive! Now through October 30, Old Fort Banking Company is collecting new and gently used winter clothing and accessories to help individuals and families in need stay warm as temperatures begin to drop.

Community members are encouraged to donate coats, jackets, boots, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and other winter essentials. Donations can be dropped off at any Old Fort Banking location throughout the collection period. Whether you're cleaning out your closets or picking up an extra item while shopping, every contribution can make a meaningful difference for someone in our community.

Chamber & Development member Mercy Health - Tiffin invites women throughout our community to enjoy a FREE Healthy Happy Hour next Tuesday, October 27, from 4:30 to 7 PM! This special event is all about prioritizing your health and wellness while enjoying a fun evening of shopping, delicious treats, and helpful health resources.

Attendees can shop a variety of clothing, accessories, skincare products, and home decor, enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and desserts, and connect with healthcare professionals offering valuable information on staying healthy at every age. Blood pressure and bone density screenings will also be available!

The event will take place at the McMullen Conference Center at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, located at 45 St. Lawrence Drive. Admission is free, and no registration is necessary. Grab a friend, stop by, and enjoy an evening dedicated to YOU!

Think you've got the best chili in town? It's time to put it to the test! 🌶️

Chamber & Development member Nicole Miller - State Farm Insurance Agent is proudly sponsoring the first-ever Chili Cook-Off during Spook Around Downtown Tiffin this Saturday, October 24. Hosted by Simply Shop Local and the Tiffin Community Kitchen, the competition kicks off at 5 PM at the library parking lot on Jefferson Street. There's NO entry fee, and everyone is welcome to participate!

Whether you've got a family recipe, a secret ingredient, or your own special twist, this is your chance to show off your chili-making skills and compete for bragging rights!

The Chili Cook-Off is just one of the many exciting activities happening in Downtown Tiffin that day! Festivities kick off with the Halloween Parade at 10 AM, followed by family-friendly activities, the Shop Small Boo-Trail, pumpkin decorating, inflatables, and more! The fun continues into the evening with the final Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market of the season, food trucks, a mechanical pumpkin rodeo, and a FREE Strait Country tribute concert at the East Green Amphitheater at 7 PM.

Take a step toward better health and wellness! 🩺

Chamber & Development member St. Francis Senior Ministries invites the community to its Annual Wellness Extravaganza this Thursday, October 22, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium, located at 190 St. Francis Avenue in Tiffin. This FREE event is open to the public and brings together area organizations and healthcare professionals to share valuable health and wellness resources!

Attendees can take advantage of health screenings, flu shots (bring your photo ID and insurance card), medication reviews with a pharmacist, and opportunities to safely dispose of unwanted medications and donate old eyeglasses. The event will also feature a special presentation at 11:30 AM by Misty Schnipke, RN, and Christy Montgomery, RN, of Bridge Home Health & Hospice, discussing the differences between palliative care and hospice.
