Yesterday marked the of our 2026 program, and what a meaningful way to close it out.

After coming together to assemble 3,000 Roth ID Tags, we had the opportunity to hand them off to John Spahr at the Seneca County Emergency Management Agency, with a large portion also going to Seneca County JFS.

Knowing these resources will continue to serve our makes all the hard work worth it. Grateful for everyone who supported us along the way and proud of what this group accomplished.

Meet Ashley Miklovic, a member of the Leadership Seneca County !

Ashley works as a Kinship Navigator at Seneca County JFS /Protective Services, where the most rewarding part of her role is identifying and supporting relatives who can care for children - helping prevent them from entering foster care and keeping families connected.

Originally from North Baltimore, Ohio, Ashley moved to Seneca County about two and a half years ago. Through Leadership Seneca County, she has enjoyed learning more about the area’s , people, businesses, and communities, while finding new ways to get involved.

What Ashley loves most about Seneca County is its parks and nature preserves. As someone who enjoys the outdoors, she appreciates the many beautiful trails and opportunities to explore.

Meet Deker Kneeskern, a member of the Leadership Seneca County !

Deker works with the Seneca County Sheriff's Office – Enforcement Division, where he enjoys supporting the deputies on his shift, solving problems in real time, and making a positive impact in the .

One of Deker’s favorite parts of Leadership Seneca County has been learning more about the county and connecting with people he may not have otherwise had the chance to meet.

Deker calls , Ohio home and says his favorite thing about Seneca County is the strong sense of community. The relationships built through work and everyday interactions with the public are what make it such a great place to serve.

Meet Alyssa Kramer, a member of the Leadership Seneca County !

Alyssa works at the Seneca County Board of DD-Seneca County Opportunity Center, where she says the best part of her job is being surrounded by compassion, empathy, and love. She enjoys building relationships with the individuals and families they serve and finds it incredibly rewarding to help support people as they live their very best lives. Alyssa says the individuals they serve are what make the organization so special - there’s nothing better than being greeted with hugs, high-fives, and genuine excitement every day.

One of Alyssa’s favorite parts of Leadership Seneca County so far has been learning more about the history of the county and discovering the it has to offer, while also building new connections with classmates and others in the community.

Born and raised in , Alyssa is now raising her own family there. She loves the strong sense of pride in Seneca County and the way people genuinely care for and support one another.

Carol works at Preferred Pathways, where she enjoys supporting individuals as they succeed in jobs and build connections with their new coworkers. Seeing those relationships grow and watching people thrive in their roles is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

One of Carol’s favorite parts of Leadership Seneca County has been meeting new people while learning more about the community and the many organizations that help it thrive.

Meet Clint Lease, a member of the Leadership Seneca County !

Clint works with the Seneca Conservation District, where he helps farmers preserve their land for future generations, strengthen their operations, and others about how farmers grow safe, reliable food for our communities. As a lifelong farmer, Clint says is truly part of his heart and soul.

Through Leadership Seneca County, Clint has enjoyed gaining insight into the many different professions that make up our community and discovering that many careers share similar challenges. Learning more about local businesses, resources, and leaders has been especially valuable.

Clint calls Seneca County home and says what he appreciates most about the area is the people.

Meet Cathy Bean, a member of the Leadership Seneca County !

Cathy works at the Seneca County Juvenile and Probate Court and Youth Center, where she serves as the Administrative Clerk for three divisions under the leadership of Judge Jay A. Meyer. In her role, Cathy helps manage budgeting, payroll, and financial operations to ensure the departments remain fiscally responsible.

Her favorite part of the job is the people she works with. Cathy appreciates the strong around her and values the opportunity to see the positive impact probation officers have on juveniles and their families.

As a self-described introvert, Cathy says one of the most rewarding parts of Leadership Seneca County has been collaborating with her classmates and learning more about the community. One highlight so far has been the scavenger hunt, where she discovered local businesses she didn’t even know existed.

Born and raised in , Cathy loves that Seneca County is a great place to raise a family, with plenty of parks, nature preserves, local restaurants - and even exciting community attractions like Attica Raceway Park.
