District signal technicians were back on US 82 at Hunt Rd in Tifton today to tweak wiring to the cabinet. This is a temporary cabinet (the "brains" of the signal) that they installed Nov. 15 after a driver took out the permanent cabinet. Technicians worked until early evening in the rain Wednesday installing the temporary cabinet and connecting a generator so the signals had power. They will be installing a new cabinet, which will require assistance at the busy intersection from local law enforcement. Watch this page for info when that is scheduled.
