Century club, here she comes! 👑 June is celebrating her 100th birthday in just a couple of days, and we started the party early at last Friday's happy hour!

​The incredibly talented Joe Szabo made a special serenade to his biggest fan. Joe sang a beautiful rendition of "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby" just for June, and the energy in the room was absolute joy as all of our residents joined in to sing "Happy Birthday" together. 🎹🎤

Summer break is getting closer, which means it’s time to show our YMCA pen pals some extra love! ☀️🕶️ We spent the afternoon putting together some surprise gifts for our amazing pen pals at the YMCA. So grateful for this awesome group!

✨ Before we officially welcome summer, we’d love to shine the spotlight on our May Resident Highlight — Peggy! ✨

Originally from Pennsylvania and an Oregonian since age 10, Peggy has lived an incredible life as a telephone operator, police officer, counselor, supervisor, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

After earning her Master’s degree in Psychology, she spent many years helping others in the mental health and addiction recovery field. She and her husband, a military veteran of 43 years, enjoyed many happy years together, including winters in sunny Yuma, Arizona.

When asked what she loves most about Summerfield Estates, Peggy says:
💛 “I love it here. I enjoy everything—the food, the people, and the community.”

A morning person with a warm smile and kind heart, Peggy brings positivity wherever she goes. We are so grateful to have her as part of our Summerfield family!

Food always tastes better when it’s served with a smile! 😊 Here is Shane serving up a delicious plate to Sylvia. Tonight’s dinner special was comforting baked ziti in marinara sauce, loaded with Italian beef sausage and ricotta cheese, plus the ultimate sidekick—garlic bread!

​Tonight, Skyler and Sebastian led the charge on the culinary line, turning out spectacular dinner specials with precision and speed. Meanwhile, our fantastic dining room crew was hard at work making sure service was seamless, warm, and welcoming for everyone.
