Leading up to turkey day—which is followed by “I’m so full I need to go read a book in peace & quiet” day—we’ve tossed a few cookbooks in the library as well as some food-related titles! Have some cookbooks you’d like to share? Bring them by! Maybe someone will find a new favorite recipe for the holidays. ❤️📚🦃👨🏻‍🍳

Happy first birthday to our Little Free Library!! (Okay, it was yesterday, but that was also the first day of school for my kids, so I get a pass.😂)

When we were first building the library, I had each member of my family choose seven favorite titles to decorate the sides of the cabinet. This morning, we added copies of many of these actual books for you to choose from. Come check out our all-time favorites!

We also added a new guest book so feel free to leave us a note. :)

It's HOT out there! Our thermometer says 108 at the moment. Whew! We've restocked with some beach reads and some clever heatwave-related titles to help you beat the heat. *By the way, the local public libraries have a/c if you don't.

Saturday shelfie! Some new books I'm hoping the girls in the neighborhood will like. Plus an advance reader copy of He Said She Said by Erin Kelly and Minotaur Books. Read it before it hits stores on June 6! (They would love if you post about it on Goodreads, too.)

It's your Sunday shelfie! Did you make it through all your Spring Break reading? If so, pay us a visit and stock back up! In addition to some amazing donations last week, we hit up the Yachats library sale while on vacation ('cause we know how to party!) and our little free library also received an autographed copy of The Rock and the Boy by Nicole Osmanski courtesy of Mother Nurture Publishing.
