The Village of Tigerton Community Center has recently been updated with a fresh paint job, including the repainting of fire department doors and the installation of new decals. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Tigerton Main Street, Inc. for their financial support of the painting project; Fran Schider Painting for their professional craftsmanship; Rogue Graphx for designing and installing the decals; and the family of John Gutho for their generous donation for the decals, made in loving memory of John.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to practice connecting to a hydrant, relay pumping, deploying handlines, setting up a ground monitor, and pumping. Additionally, we took a moment to honor the memory of our late Chief John Gutho by paying our respects at a bench dedicated to his legacy.

Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten. Today we pause to reflect, remember, and give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy because of them.
