The Tilghman Fire Company will be hosting a County Community meeting on Thursday June 4, 2026 at the Fire Hall from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to solicit input on new signage at Dogwood Harbor.

This is an opportunity to provide feedback to our County Leadership on this project.

The Tilghman Fire Company babysitter training class proposal sparked a lot of interest.

Based on the feedback we will run the babysitter training with the pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. This will be the 8 hour class.

We will submit Saturday June 20th as our first choice date to the American Red Cross and Saturday June 27th as our alternate date. The class will be conducted at the Fire House Hall.

There will be a registration form posted on the Fire Company website: tilghmanvfc.com. Please complete this form so we can capture some general information on the children attending. We will cap the class size to 14 children.

Once the American Red Cross confirms the date of the class you will be notified.

The Tilghman Fire Company will cover the cost of the training program as part of our Community Education Outreach and Risk Reduction Program.

Got something you want to sell or finally decided to declutter the garage? Well the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Company has you covered, at our spring flew market. Tables are just $20 or two for $35. Spacing is first come first serve so don’t wait to reserve your table.

While you’re at the fire house shopping for all the goodies at the flea market you may get hungry. Well guess what? We have you covered for that too!! Enjoy a delicious sub at our sub sale fundraiser.

Both events are Saturday May 2nd
Flea market doors open at 8 am and sub sale begins at 10am.
