⚠️ Traffic Advisory – Road Milling & Paving Operations ⚠️

Please be advised that road milling operations are scheduled for the following locations:

• Wilson River Loop near the Sollie Smith Boat Launch
• Tillamook River Road near Bl**er Bridge

Work is scheduled for:
• Monday, May 18, 2026
• Tuesday, May 19, 2026

These roads will remain open to traffic during operations; however, motorists should expect delays, rough road surfaces, intermittent lane restrictions, and construction equipment in the area.

Road milling is the process of removing the top layer of existing asphalt in preparation for new pavement.
Once milling operations are complete, paving operations will begin.

Please use caution, reduce speed, and follow all posted traffic control signs and flaggers.

🚧 Temporary Road Closure – Cape Meares Loop 🚧

Please be advised that the new alignment of Cape Meares Loop will be closed to the public from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24th, Wednesday, February 25th, and Thursday, February 26th.

This temporary road closure is necessary to establish survey markers as required by statute.
The selected dates and times were chosen to minimize impacts to the traveling public.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this short-term closure.

It’s time for some Fall cleaning! The Tillamook County Fairgrounds, in collaboration with the Bye Bye Mattress Program, will be hosting a free mattress and box spring recycling event on Saturday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

🚧 Road Closure Notice - Miami Foley Road 🚧

As part of the final stages of the bridge improvement projects, paving operations will require road closures on Miami Foley Road at Dry Creek and Crystal Creek. These closures are necessary to ensure the work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Wednesday, October 8th & Thursday October 9th, 2025 – Road closure at Dry Creek and Crystal Creek for cold plane milling followed by paving at both bridges. Closure hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30p.m each day.

During this time, detour route will be U.S. Highway 101.

We are pleased to share that this project is approaching completion, and these final steps will significantly improve the surface and durability of both bridges. Your continued patience and cooperation throughout this project have been greatly appreciated.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

MIAMI FOLEY ROAD will be closed to through traffic on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., in the area (MP 8.725), at Crystal Creek.
This closure is necessary due to the size of equipment needed to remove and set bridge beams.
During this time, detour route will be U.S. Highway 101.
