June Dairy Parade Day Info!

The June Dairy Parade is this Saturday – June 27th! The parade kicks off at 11:00 AM at 11th & Pacific, and road closures will begin around 10:45 AM. 🕚🚧

As you find your perfect viewing spot, please do not sit or block the following intersections:

• 3rd St. & Ocean Pl.
• 5th St. & Main Ave.

These are dedicated emergency access routes for our first responders. 🚒🚑

Let’s work together to keep our community safe and accessible for everyone. Remember if you see something, say something. The Police Department has Officer’s dedicated to the June Dairy Parade, but we need your help and eyes to spot suspicious activity.

ABOVE & BEYOND
Kindness Citations TPD-00469 & 470

At Tillamook High School, Bella and Michael consistently go above and beyond in service to their students and community. This year, both played a vital role in the success of the Every 15 Minutes program. Their willingness to step up, lead, and dedicate their time and energy made a lasting impact on everyone involved. Programs like this simply would not be possible without people who care as deeply as Bella and Michael do.

The TIllamook Police Department is incredibly grateful for their partnership, dedication, and commitment to helping make Tillamook a safer and stronger community for our youth. Due to their outstanding work and continued support, Chief Troxel and the Tillamook Police Department were honored to issue them a Kindness Citation.

After being issued her Kindness Citation Bella shared, “It feels great to be appreciated by our community. I don’t do these extra things to be recognized but because I love our students and the well being of our entire Tillamook community. I feel so incredibly lucky to live and work in a place where everyone is supportive and welcoming! Thank you for this honor!“

LET'S DO IT AGAIN, SEND OUR CHEESEMAKERS OFF IN STYLE!

The Tillamook High School Baseball Team is headed to Roto Rooter Field (Volcano Stadium) in Keizer Oregon for the OSAA 4A State Championship Baseball Game vs. Marist Spartans, and our community couldn't be more proud!

These student-athletes continue to represent Tillamook with determination, sportsmanship, and heart all season long. Now it's time for Cheesemaker Nation to, once again, show them how much their hard work means to our community.

HELPING HANDS
Tillamook Kindness Citations

Today we want to recognize some outstanding members of the Tillamook community for their kindness and willingness to step up when it matters most.

Bob, Kevin, Martin, Jay, and Colby were each issued Kindness Citations after being caught by Tillamook Police Chief Troxel moving bleachers to help ensure they had adequate seating as Tillamook hosts the State Quarterfinals baseball game.

This is what makes Tillamook such a special place — a community that comes together to support one another and make great things happen behind the scenes. These gentlemen consistently go above and beyond to make sure the logistical needs of their schools and community are met, not just during big events like this, but all throughout the year.

The Tillamook School District grounds crew and maintenance staff are appreciated beyond measure, and today we are proud to recognize their hard work and dedication.

The Werner name is well known in Tillamook—and so is the generosity behind it. Founded in 1994, Werner Gourmet Meat Snacks began as a small, home-based beef jerky operation on the Oregon Coast. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to quality, it has grown into a thriving Tillamook business—while staying true to its roots of authentic flavor and high standards.

From supporting National Night Out, Every 15 Minutes, Tillamook Sports, to purchasing 4-H and FFA animals at the County Fair, and even stepping in to keep the community dunk tank alive, Ken Werner and the Werner family continue to show what it means to give back.

Ken’s long-standing support of the Tillamook Police Department, the City of Tillamook, and our entire county has made a lasting impact that does not go unnoticed.
