A long overdue THANK YOU to the Town of Tilton, New Hampshire Public Works Department for installing a new ramp at the Tilton Senior Center and a lovely flower box.

A great big THANK YOU to the Tilton Senior Center Executive Committee for planning a celebration of the Nation's 250th Birthday at the Tilton Senior Center today! We had a delicious lasagna meal made and served by Alan of Tilton Inn and Onions Pub and Restaurant and his staff! And great music provided by Roses and Thorns! It was a wonderful event! Many thanks!

Join us for our last Backyard BBQ this Friday, August 7th from 4pm to 7pm! It's $5 for a plate with a burger or a hotdog, but you can come to just play some outdoor games and hang out with your community! Stop by and hang out, bring back block parties with us!

Tuesday, August 18, 12:15pm at the Tilton Senior Center ~ Discovering New England Stone Walls. This program is FREE, open to the public and made possible through New Hampshire Humanities. Kevin Gardner, author of The Granite Kiss, explains how and why New England came to acquire its thousands of miles of stone walls, the ways that they and other dry stone structures were built, how their styles emerged and changed over time, and their significance to the famous New England landscape. Along the way, Kevin occupies himself building a miniature wall or walls on a tabletop, using tiny stones from a five-gallon bucket.
