Notice - Wednesday 6/26 4:30 pm: Outage update. Hoover has been repaired and water should be returning to those affected shortly. Tres Marias will be out of water overnight, work will resume in the morning. Drinking water is available at the lodge for those who need it.

Update: 6/27 - More work is required on Hoover, so Hoover will be down, and Pounds will be down. Operators will be working on Hoover between Keats and Catfish. Please drive with caution in that area.

6/24/24 at 4:30 pm - Notice: Customers in the area of Merlin, south of Swift will continue to experience low or loss of water pressure overnight. If you need drinking water, come to the lodge, we have bottled water for those who are affected.

Our Story

We supply water, and other services to the District. The Timberon Water & Sanitation District was formed so the community water system, roads, cemetery and other holdings inherited from the previous private holdings and corporations would be eligible for government grants and receive an allowance of the taxes collected on properties within the District to help with the expense of maintaining the District’s assets. The District is considered a branch of the government and an entity of the State of New Mexico.
