The Town of Timberville is currently accepting applications for the position of police officer. We are seeking well-rounded applicants who are both pro-active and community oriented. The ideal candidates will be able to work independently. Applicants must be currently certified as a police officer through Virginia DCJS and meet the minimum requirements set forth in 15.2-1705 of the Code of Virginia. Applicants should submit a resume and Timberville Town application (available at the Town Hall or on the Town website) by June 26th 2026. Please see the Town website for further information.

Today is the day!!! Come out to American Legion Park in Timberville this evening for an awesome time of live music, great food, fun games, and all the summer vibes you can handle. Food will begin being served around 6:30 PM and the music will start at 7:00 PM. Come early and don't forget to bring your lawn chair or a blanket. The whole family is welcome, even the dogs!

Due to the outstanding support and interest in the patches, we will place an order for more. However, it will take some time for delivery. We will update again once the new supply has arrived.

Tomorrow is the day...Summer Music Series kicks off at 6:30 PM at the American Legion Park at 325 American Legion Timberville, VA 22853. Little Walter & The Convictions will be performing live music and food by Fat Boyz BBQ will be available for purchase. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and get settled in for a good time.
