April 6–10 is Property & Evidence Technicians Week in Colorado, and we’re proud to recognize the critical behind-the-scenes work these professionals do every day to support public safety and the justice system.

Property and Evidence Technicians are responsible for the careful collection, documentation, storage and release of evidence. These dedicated professionals ensure it is handled accurately, securely and ethically from the moment it is collected through the conclusion of a case. Their work is essential to police investigations, court proceedings and maintaining public trust.

This week, we’re especially proud to recognize Alisa for her outstanding service to our Police Department. Alisa’s dedication, attention to detail and professionalism help ensure evidence is managed with integrity and care every single day.

Thank you, Alisa, for your commitment to excellence and for the important role you play in serving our community!

As St. Patrick’s Day celebrations begin, we remind everyone to plan ahead for a safe ride home.
🌈 Luck is great, but planning is best. Line up your sober ride before the celebration starts.
Driving while buzzed is still impaired driving.

You may notice our Police Department monthly reports look a little different.
We’ve updated the format to include data from previous months so it’s easier to see trends and better show what’s happening over time in our community. Supporting our commitment to transparency by giving the community clearer context, not just month to month snapshots.

The update did cause a brief delay in sharing the reports, so this update includes a combined look at January and February 2026 statistics. We appreciate your patience as we have worked to improve how this information is presented.
