📚 There are some great books in the LFL right now! 📚

⭐️ A lot of the neighborhood pups make the LFL a regular stop for treats on their daily walks 🐾
So a big THANK YOU to all who continuously replenish the dog treats for our furry friends ❤️ 🐶

⭐️ Also, a gentle reminder... if the LFL is full, please hold onto your book donations until shelf space opens up.

⭐️ If you have a large donation of books, the Baltimore County Public Libraries take donations. Check out their guidelines online:

https://www.bcpl.info/about-us/support-your-library.html

OR... The Goodwill off Padonia Rd takes book donations as well.

🌺🌻🌸HAPPY MOTHERS DAY🌸🌻🌺

In honor of Mothers Day, the LFL is featuring a collection of pregnancy, birth, baby, toddler, meal planning, and parenting books.
The library is pretty full right now, therefore all of the featured books will not be in the LFL. If you see a book (listed in the comment section below) that spikes the interest for yourself, a friend, and/or family member, please send a private message to this page. Your reserved books will be placed in the LFL tagged with your name.

A day late, but another beautiful exchange... We delivered 18 Valentines to the residents of Mercy Ridge Retirement Community today. The residents we spoke to were so appreciative of the beautiful handmade cards. It's a small gesture that has made a big impact. Thank you to all who participated! ❤️

💞Valentines for Residents of Mercy Ridge Retirement Community💞:

Did you know that many residents in nursing home communities do not get visitors on a regular basis or even at all?
Help your neighborhood LFL spread the ❤️LOVE❤️... make a valentine! This is a small way to bring a big smile into the life of an aging member of our community.

There will be two envelopes in the LFL:
1. The first envelope will be filled with scrap paper for you and your child to take home and make a special valentines card.
2. The second envelope will be for you to drop off your card once completed.

We will be dropping off the Valentines Cards to Mercy Ridge Retirement Community on Pot Spring Rd. in Timonium on February 14th. So please be sure to complete your cards by 11am on Valentines Day.

Thank you!

Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday and new year celebration! ⛄️🎉
Valentine's Day is around the corner, and what better way to kick off this new year than to spread the love. ❤️
Last year Pinevalley residents made valentines for the Mercy Ridge Retirement community, and it was just beautiful. The residents appreciated the cards so much, that we have decided to do it again.
Please Be on the look out in the next week for details. In the meantime... See the comments section for the experience my daughter and I had dropping the cards off last year.
📚Happy ready Pinevalley📚

**EVENT RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY OCTOBER 21st**

📚Pinevalley LFL📚 does the Kindness Rock Project on Saturday, October 14th from 10am-5pm.

⭐️Comment with the word "in" if you are planning on participating so I can make sure there are enough supplies.

⭐️Details as follows:
I'll set up a table with non-toxic paints, brushes, and markers from 10am-5pm. Stop by with your rock and creativity! Depending on how detailed you are planning on making your rock, it may have to be completed in stages (to let paint dry). Please feel free to leave your rock on the tarp under the table to dry until you come back (same day) to finish. Also, if you'd like for me to seal your rock, please leave it on the tarp under the table. At the end of the day, I will seal all rocks left and place them under the LFL once dried (most likely the next day). I'll post an update once the completed rocks are out, so you can pick them up.

⭐️Bria Sinnot dropped off a big basket of rocks... So, if you don't have a rock and would still like to participate, please stop by. Thanks, Bria!

‼️Just a friendly reminder... this is a beautiful and inspiring project, however please be conscious about where you are leaving your rocks. Respect community standards and follow the "Leave No Trace" guidelines when in parks. Also consider the impact that placing a rock can have on both plants and animals. Thank you and have fun!

I was thinking of designating a weekend where paint supplies will be out by the LFL. You bring your rock to paint/write on. You could take your rock or leave it under the LFL to dry, thus creating a rock garden. The concept of the rock garden would be that people could take a rock that inspires them to gift or leave elsewhere.

Let me know if you and/or your family would like to participate.

Wishing everyone a super first day back to School and a great year ahead!
