Yesterday afternoon, we were proud to host a lunch with elected officials, municipal chairs, and labor leaders representing public- and trades-union advocates here in Monmouth County.

Unions are the backbone of our workforce and embody the values at the heart of our Democratic base. Thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to continuing to work together to build a stronger Monmouth County.

The New Jersey Victory Summer of Service is a statewide project led by local volunteers activating and growing their networks to support a statewide hygiene supply drive to benefit our neighbors in need (to be distributed by New Jersey food banks and other community based organizations).

They will be holding their Monmouth County hygiene drive this Saturday, August 8th from 1:00pm - 2:30pm at MCD HQ (766 Shrewsbury Avenue, East Office, Unit 302, Tinton Falls NJ 07724).

Join our kickoff event to learn how you can:

-Create or join a local Summer of Service volunteer network

-Organize a donation site at your home or in your community

-Volunteer to staff donation collection booths at public events

-Support the drive by spreading the word to your local community and social networks and encouraging your neighbors to join in the effort
