UPDATE-We are being told the construction will start the pipes on the dirt portion.
Hopefully anyone needing to get off the hill will have plans in place. The Emergency Services have been notified.

Mann Hill Road will be closed from Oak Lane to Blueberry Lane on Wednesday July 8th all day. A contractor will be replacing pipes during this time. Please plan accordingly for the road closure

There were 13,000 fireworks injuries in 2025.

Most of them were to hands and fingers.

Protect yourself this :

◉ Don't mix alcohol or drugs with fireworks 🚫🍺
◉ Have a bucket of water/hose nearby 🪣
◉ Don't hold fireworks in your hand 🚫🖐️
◉ Never light more than one at a time ☝️
◉ Never handle or attempt to relight a failed firework 🚫🧨

The 2026 Laurel Festival Pet Parade is on Sunday, June 14 at 1:30 p.m. in Wellsboro. Youngsters can bring a pet or a decorated bike and join in the fun.
