Tipp City Enrichment Program is open to all Tipp City Students in Grades K - 5. Tipp City Enrichment Program accepts subsidized child care through Miami Country Job and Family Services.

Dear TCEP Families and Community Members,

We want to share an important update regarding the future of the Tipp City Enrichment Program (TCEP).

As many of you know, TCEP will need to relocate from its current facility by December 2027. Over the past several months, we have been actively exploring alternative locations and potential partnerships to ensure the long-term sustainability of our program. Unfortunately, we have not yet identified a viable solution.

We fully intend to remain open for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year. Our commitment to providing quality care, education, and enrichment for the children and families we serve remains our highest priority.

To responsibly plan for the future, TCEP must secure a suitable facility by December 2026. Without a confirmed location by that time, we will be unable to open enrollment in January for Summer 2027 and the 2027–2028 school year. We believe it is important to be transparent with our families and cannot responsibly accept enrollment commitments without confidence in our ability to continue operating. While we remain committed to exploring every reasonable opportunity, securing a suitable facility is essential to TCEP's continued operation.

We recognize how important TCEP is to our families, staff, and the broader community. We remain hopeful that a sustainable solution can be found and welcome information about potential facilities or community partnerships that could help ensure our program's future.

We are grateful for the continued support of our families, staff, community partners, and the Tipp City School District. We will continue to communicate openly as plans develop and share updates as more information becomes available.

Tipp Gazette Q&A: Readers, how can TCEP find a new home? For families who depend on the Tipp City Enrichment Program, school construction raises a question that goes beyond new classrooms: Where will their children go for preschool and before- and after-school care?

TCEP is an independent childcare and early childhood education organization operating in cooperation with Tipp City Schools. We reported in August that its school-based operation would be discontinued over the next several years because of construction, building demolition and renovation-related space constraints—not that the entire program had already closed.

As TCEP looks for a new location, should helping it stay in Tipp City become a community priority? Could an existing building, a partnership with a local organization or support from businesses and donors help preserve this option for families? Reliable childcare is not just a convenience—it is what allows many parents to work. What should Tipp City do to help TCEP find a new home, and what possible locations or partnerships deserve a closer look?

🍂🎃 **Yes, we know it’s FALL… but apparently TCEP is still on SUMMER TIME!** ☀️😂

The leaves are changing, pumpkins are everywhere, and we’re over here thinking, *“Hey… maybe we should finally post those summer pictures!”* 🤦‍♀️📸

So, better late than never… **IT’S TIME FOR THE GREAT TCEP SUMMER FUN PHOTO DUMP!** 🎉☀️

Our TCEP kids had a summer packed with **adventures, creativity, learning, laughter, and LOTS of fun!** Before we get so far behind that we’re posting summer pictures at Christmas 🎄😂, we wanted to share some of our favorite moments — and recognize the amazing people and organizations who helped make them possible.

A HUGE thank you to the Tipp City Foundation for supporting our summer enrichment program through grant funding. Your generosity helped us bring special experiences directly to our kids and create memories that will last long after summer is over. 💙
