Today, we were happy to visit our friends at Purdue Extension- Tipton County 4-H for their mini 4-H summer camp! Campers were shown various pieces of firefighting and emergency medical equipment and were shown both the ambulance and the fire engine.

We would like to congratulate the Tipton High School Class of 2026 on their graduation today! We would like to give a special shout-out to CTVFD Juniors Ethan Sizelove, Dylan Achenbach, Garrett Boyer, and Konnley Wittkamper, who graduated today! They are now eligible to become full members of Cicero Township Vol. Fire Department!

Today, members of Cicero Township Volunteer Fire Department , along with Cicero Township Volunteer Fire Department Juniors participated in a school bus extrication training. This decommissioned school bus was donated to our fire department by a local school district.

We are currently doing a fundraiser. If you did not receive a mailer, one is attached. We are trying to raise money for new equipment and to improve service to our community. To those who have already donated, we say THANK YOU for your donation and support.

On/after Thur. 1/22, both shoulders on State Road 28 will be restricted at the intersection with C.R. 560 W. as crews work to construct a new traffic signal at the intersection. Work is expected to last through the spring, with short-term flagging operations possible.

INDOT crews will be reconstructing the roundabouts at the intersection of S.R. 28 and U.S. 31 this summer. This new traffic signal is part of that upcoming work.

Today, we pause to honor and remember Firefighter Donnie Ross, who gave everything to give service to our community. Donnie's dedication, selflessness, and courage will never be forgotten. As a firefighter, Donnie showed up every day with the heart of a hero, putting others first, no matter the risk.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the countless lives that he touched, the friendships they made, and the example that he set for all who follow in his footsteps.
Rest in peace, Donnie Ross. You will never be forgotten and you are always missed.

SANTA’S COMING!

On December 20th, Santa will be visiting the residents of Cicero Township and waving “hello” to all the children and families while riding on Engine 21! The route is described below in the photos, and will begin at 10 A.M.! Mark your calendars now!
