Mr. James Dial’s students, Caden and Dante, put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work to make a real difference for one of our own. After learning about the challenges of traveling with a newborn who requires a feeding tube, Caden and Dante designed and created a mobile feeding apparatus for Nikki Moore’s newborn. Their innovative design is lightweight, foldable, and easily disassembled, making it convenient to use while traveling, including in hotels and even in the car. What started as a design challenge became a meaningful solution that has made traveling with a feeding tube easier, more manageable, and less stressful for Nikki and her family. We love seeing our students use their knowledge, creativity, and compassion to solve real-world problems and help others. What an incredible example of the power of innovation and hands-on learning!

NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD VACANCIES – NOVEMBER 3, 2026 ELECTION

The Lake County Election Commission is currently issuing qualifying petitions for two vacancies on the November 3, 2026 ballot:

• School Board District 1 – Unexpired 4-Year Term
• School Board District 1 – Unexpired 2-Year Term

📅 Qualifying Deadline: September 9, 2026 at 12:00 Noon
📅 Withdrawal Deadline: September 12, 2026 at 12:00 Noon

Petitions may be picked up at the Lake County Election Commission, located at 217 South Court Street, Tiptonville, TN 38079, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
