Celebrating 50 years of impact, community, and clean waters 🌊🦪

Honored to attend the 50th Anniversary Bivalve Ball supporting Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group -one of my favorite local nonprofits doing critical work right here on the Island. Each year, they propagate millions of shellfish that help restore our coastal ecosystems, improve water quality, and sustain our working waterfronts.

As someone who’s spent a life on and around the water, this mission hits close to home. Healthy shellfish populations mean healthier harbors, stronger fisheries, and a more resilient future for Martha’s Vineyard.

Grateful to celebrate alongside so many who care deeply about protecting and preserving our waters for generations to come 💙 Special thanks to all those volunteers who made the event possible and to and !

Grinding and paving work is scheduled for Pine Street and Center Street, as highlighted in the attached map.

• Grinding will take place on Thursday, April 16th
• Paving will take place on Tuesday, April 21st
Both will take place between 7am and 5pm

Please expect temporary traffic delays and use alternate routes when possible while crews are working.
