Due to the high probability after midnight and into the early morning hour’s showers and rain will begin. Overnight temps will fall to near 50° and remain steady ahead of the front. The Arctic Front arrives in our northwest counties around 4am and moves Southeast across our county with cold rain and increasing gusty North winds. (WE WILL NOT HAVE A VETERAN PARADE). If the weather remains nasty as expected, Tishomingo High School has graciously offered the use of the gym for us to conduct Veterans Services at 11 am. Request the widest dissemination of this information as possible.

Thousands of volunteers are laying 267,000 wreaths now at for . Thank you for honoring and remembering all who rest here. This meaningful tradition is in its 27th year here at the cemetery.

The Funeral Service for Don Nichols will be Thursday September 20th at 1:00 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church Tishomingo, Rex Clayton will officiate.

Veterans Day Parade in Tishomingo this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Let's give our Veterans some support wear your Red White and Blue and wave your flag for them. 🇱🇷 All veterans are invited to ride in the parade, we have places for you, meet at the Corner of Main and Byrd (First Baptist Church) at 10:00 am. 🚲 There is a Patrotic Bicycle Contest for the kids with 1st 2nd and 3rd prizes given. 👩‍✈️👨‍✈️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Johnston County War Memorial Committee.

There will be a Veterans Day Parade in Tishomingo on 11-11-17 staring at 10:30 am. The parade will line up at 10:00 am on North Bird Street and continue to South Capital Street to the War Memorial. Donald Nichols WWll Veteran will be the Parade Marshall. The Veterans Day Program will begn at 11:00 am. Theme for the parade is "Honoring our Veterans" Come and show your support for our Johnston County Veterans. ❤
