🐾 Beau Knows 911 🐾

Hi friends! Beau here.

Summer is here, and that means more kids are outside riding bikes, playing at the park, and enjoying time with friends. While you're having fun, remember one important thing:

📍 Know your address.

If you ever need to call 911, being able to tell dispatchers where you are is one of the most important pieces of information you can provide. Every second counts during an emergency.

🐶 Beau's Challenge:
Ask your child if they know:
✅ Their home address
✅ Their parents' names
✅ How to call 911
✅ When it's appropriate to call 911

Make it a game and practice together!

Our dispatchers are here 24/7, but knowing where help needs to go helps us get assistance to you faster.

Stay safe and have a pawsome summer!

Today, we remember the heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation. Memorial Day is not simply about flags, cookouts, or a day off work — it is about honoring the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live in freedom.

Behind every name etched into history is a family that carries an empty chair at the table, a story left unfinished, and a legacy that deserves to be remembered. Their courage, selflessness, and devotion to this country will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends today, let us also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day. Freedom is not free, and we owe an incredible debt of gratitude to those who laid down their lives to protect it.

Today, we honor the fallen.
We remember their sacrifice.
And we remain forever grateful. 🇺🇸

Happy National Police Week to our law enforcement partners — the brave men and women who willingly respond to chaos after hearing dispatch say things like:

“Caller is screaming…”
“Unknown weapons…”
“Subject possibly naked…”
…and everyone’s favorite:
“Complainant advises they know what the law says.”🚔🎙️

Thank you for answering the radio at all hours of the day and night, surviving on caffeine, sarcasm, and pure adrenaline, and somehow knowing exactly where someone means when they say:

“You know… that dirt road beside the old white house where the old Dollar General USED to be.”

We appreciate you pretending not to be annoyed when dispatch asks:
• “Were you clear?”
• “What’s your 20?”
• “Can you repeat that?”
…immediately after you gave a perfectly clear transmission directly beside a running diesel engine, siren, barking dog, and screaming suspect.

Thank you for the foot chases where we’re trying to keep up on CAD while you’re yelling landmarks that make absolutely no sense:

“Running behind the blue trailer!”
“Crossing a fence!”
“We are passing the big tree!”

Meanwhile dispatch is over here zooming around Google Maps like it’s the Super Bowl.

And let’s not forget your unbelievable ability to clear a call with:
“Everything’s under control.”

Sir… there are six units on scene, a fire truck, EMS, two angry neighbors recording on Facebook Live, and someone’s emotional support goat running loose in traffic. Nothing about this appears under control.

But in all seriousness — thank you for every shift worked, every dangerous call answered, every holiday missed, every person helped, and every time you run toward something everyone else is running away from.

From your 911 family: we give you a hard time because we love you… and because radio recordings are forever. 💙🚔🎧

Today we celebrate the women who somehow manage to be strong and soft at the same time. The ones who carry the weight of the world, wipe tears, cheer the loudest, love the deepest, and still somehow remember where everyone’s missing shoes are.

To every mom, bonus mom, grandmother, guardian, and mother figure — thank you for the sacrifices nobody sees, the love that never runs out, and the strength you show every single day.

You are the calm in the chaos, the glue that holds families together, and the heart behind so many of our best memories.

Today is for you. 💐
Happy Mother’s Day! 💖

Happy Nurses Week! 💙

This week, we celebrate the incredible nurses who show up every single day with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication.

You are the calm in chaos, the voice of reassurance, and the hands that heal. You make a difference in ways most people will never fully see—but we see it, and it matters.

Thank you for your heart, your resilience, and the care you give so selflessly.

💙 We appreciate you—today and every day. 💙

Tag your favorite nurse and let them know how much you appreciate them!!

Stephens County,
Thanks to many of you, NTCW 2026 was a huge success. We wanted to take a moment to show gratitude to all of those that donated items, money, and/or food in appreciation of our staff.

Because of that generosity, our dispatchers felt seen, appreciated, and supported in a way that truly matters. The long hours, the difficult calls, the unseen moments behind the headset.... you helped remind them that what they do does not go unnoticed.

In this line of work, appreciation isn't always loud or visible. But last week, you made it undeniable.
