This is worth a listen. At the MGS open house, they could not sufficiently answer why this 765kV line is needed in Wisconsin. Although WI’s power needs have been flat for 20 years and are anticipated to remain so, they are claiming it’s the ‘surges’ that will stress the grid in the next 10 years and offered no proof or information on the cause these surges. There is only one answer…Data Centers.

This is the new men’s overnight shelter scheduled to open September 1st. The hope is to eventually operate 24/7 once funding is raised through private donations and non-government sources.

I went on a behind the scenes tour of the Henry Vilas Zoo. We are lucky to have such a treasure in Madison. Admission is free, there are so many special events -Boo at the Zoo, summer camps, Zoo Run Run, Zoo Lights and more. And our zoo has the highest AZ accredited AZ rating!
