The African American Legacy Project (AALP) will host an
overview meeting to share the vision behind the proposed Art Tatum Historic Business District, a community platform designed around a twofold strategy: to protect and honor Art Tatum’s
legacy in perpetuity, and to stabilize and grow the community where he played his first note.The meeting will outline what inspired the creation of the new subsidiary, The Art Tatum
Historic Business District, and explain how community members can get involved in efforts to preserve and promote Tatum’s enduring influence.

Safe-T-City Program is now accepting applications for 2025 summer sessions!

Safe-T-City is a child pedestrian, traffic, and life safety program sponsored by the Toledo Police Department at no cost. This program is held at the Scott Park Shelter House, 2201 Nebraska Avenue, next to the Scott Park District Station.
