We are so looking to the Wooden Boat Show next weekend but need to get some things in order!
The YPRHS Museum will be closed Tuesday (8/11) & Wednesday (8/12) but will be open from Thursday to Sunday.
Thank you for the understanding and we can't wait to see who wins the Cardboard Boat Race!

Scamp was so excited to be back the YPRHS Museum he couldn't sit still!! Thanks for bringing your dad in good boy!!!

UPDATE 7/16/2026
The flag is BACK y'all!! Thank you so much to Toledo Police Department for getting our property returned to us.

Have you seen a flag identical to this? The YPRHS had another theft and two young men took this from us. We have you on camera at 4am (july 15) and have made a police report....we really just want our flag back guys.
As a nonprofit small unexpected purchases are hurting us. We had another theft of a wifi booster and a police report was also filed on that.
Please help us recover this flag and keep your kids accountable. These bad apples are truly spoiling the bunch.

Pirate Storytime! Come and meet a Pirate!
Wednesday at 10:30

For the upcoming Kiddie Parade - Bike decorating downtown , on Main Street. Thursday at 10-12.

Kiddie Parade - bring yourself and walk in the Kiddie Parade to kick off Summerfest! Meet at the library at 5:30pm.

Grand Parade - Saturday at 9:00am - We need our library friends to hand out bookmarks during the grand parade. Meet at Muggly's at 9:00 am. Let us know if you are coming!

July 9th - 10:30 am - Newport Youth Symphony will be at the library! Try an instrument with a professional!

July 16th - 10:30 am - Oregon Coast Aquarium - The Amazon Rainforest is coming to Toledo!

July 23rd - 10:30 am - Toledo Fire Department Field Trip! Meet up at the Toledo Fire Department for a tour, check out the trucks, and have some fun!

July 25th - 2:00 pm - Story Trackers - bring in your reports for your Badges - if you haven't heard of this - come by the library and we will explain it all!
