Good afternoon everyone!! I have been slacking on my Facebook Game lately! Please help me welcome my newest Recruit Ky’Anna Johnson!!

We met at the University of Toledo and What a pleasure it was helping her Enlist into the Ohio Army National Guard!

She chose to become a 92G (Food Service Specialist) I am jealous because if I could start over I would have chose to be a cook as she will be sent to one of the top Culinary Arts schools in America to learn about food safety and sanitation, preparing large meals for troops, and of course learning to make some desserts for us all to enjoy!

She received a 100 percent Tuition scholarship and a monthly Allowance called the GI Bill that will pay her $407 dollars tax free every month while attending school!

Why pay out of pocket at a University to learn, when you can get paid by us to get training, experience, and a debt free degree!

Congratulations to you and I know you will go on to do great things!

Congratulations to all the High School Seniors graduating this year!

This is your time to reflect on the experiences and knowledge you have gained over the years.

Something I like to say to young men and women entering the real world after Highschool is to really think about who they want to be, how they want to be remembered, and what differences do they want to make?

I’ve always believed There are two types of people in this World.

There are those who get lost letting The world distract, confuse, and consume them….

Or…

There are those who take control of their own lives, paths, and make choices that will better your future.

Wether that is learning a trade, going to college, or serving your country, we must as individuals continue to learn and grow.

While the Ohio Army National Guard is not the ONLY option, it is a great option to get paid to learn a skill/trade, use our 100 percent scholarship to gain your degree, and of course serve part time giving back to our communities when they need us the most.
