The Youth Development Department at the YWCA is deeply committed to empowering youth in 6th through 12th grade through transformative programs that foster growth, leadership, and academic success. As we continue to expand our efforts, we need passionate supporters like you to help us make a lasting impact on youth personal development.
The YWCA Youth Development advocates foster educational and life skills, healthy behaviors, community service learning, and enrichment activities among youth. Youth Advocates provide individuals with the tools they need to thrive in school and beyond. Our programs have helped students succeed in teen pregnancy prevention, reduce school dropout rates, and explore positive life skills, giving them a sense of Purpose. With your support, we can open up a greater world of possibilities to youth, providing them with opportunities that will shape their futures.
