The MFC is proud to sponsor Ohio’s Proposed Charlie Kirk Act: A Panel Discussion on Teaching about Religion in P-12 Schools and Universities at the University of Toledo on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 5:15-7 p.m. at the Memorial Field House, Room 2100.

Join a moderated discussion with educator-scholar panelists from the religious traditions of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Christianity who will draw on their expertise to discuss their understandings of the potential implications of Ohio’s proposed Charlie Kirk American Heritage Act, which would “permit teachers in public schools and state institutions of higher education to provide instruction on the influence of Judeo-Christan values on history and culture.”

Audience members will be invited to engage in a brief discussion with each other prior to the panel and to participate in a Q&A with panelists after their remarks.

These notices have been sent out by outside groups not associated with the Lucas County Board of Elections or the Ohio Secretary of State's Office. If you have received a notice like this in the mail and would like to check your registration status with the Lucas County Board of Elections, you can do so by following this link: Voter Lookup - Lucas. All you need to do is input your first and last name and hit Submit. This will pull up your current registration status within Lucas County.
