Congratulations, Dean Rebecca Zietlow!

We are thrilled to announce that Rebecca Zietlow has been named the permanent Dean of the College of Law! Many of you already know Dean Zietlow as a dedicated educator, distinguished scholar, and valued leader. She has served as Interim Dean while also holding the titles of Distinguished University Professor and Charles W. Fornoff Professor of Law and Values. Notably, she is making history as the first permanent woman dean of the College of Law, following Beth Eisler’s service as an interim dean.

I look forward to serving the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of the College of Law as we continue to nurture and instruct our new lawyers in the Toledo Way for years to come."

With a B.A. from Barnard College and a J.D. from Yale Law School, Dean Zietlow brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to this role. We are excited to see her vision continue to shape the College of Law.
