Ovarian Cancer Connection

Ovarian Cancer Connection The OCC has been raising awareness about ovarian and other gynecologic cancers throughout NW Ohio and SE Michigan.

For the women affected by these cancers, we provide resources, education, and financial support. Ovarian Cancer Awareness and Community Support

The Ovarian Cancer Connection (OCC) provides financial assistance to survivors in treatment who are in need of help. An application is available on our website ovarianconnection.org or call 419-866-6622. We also raise awareness by educating the community

on the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. We have speakers available should you ever need someone to come talk at a gathering. Donations can be made by visiting our website at ovarianconnection.org. 100% of the money raised will stay local to support women with ovarian or other gynecological cancers, as well as allow us to continue to provide literature to further educate on the symptoms of various gynecological cancers. Hello,

I am reaching out regarding an upcoming opportunity for an ovarian cancer patient who is currently taking Elahere as treatment to share their experience on a patient testimonial video.

Our team is part of the healthcare organization, Health Central. We work specifically to educate others on the patient experience by sharing the patient journeys. We partner with pharmaceutical clients, like AbbVie, on patient activities such as advisory boards, speaking opportunities and patient testimonial videos.

We are working on a few potential patient testimonial activities focused on ovarian cancer with Elahere as a treatment. The individual(s) will be paid for their time — we appreciate their openness to share their experience to create awareness of this disease and also options for treatment.

Your private information will be kept confidential.

You can visit our website: https://www.healthcentral.com for more information on our work for the patient community. You can also view Patient Engagement projects on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/patient.engagement2024/

Thank you for your consideration. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Best,
Julie Howe Fuller

Earlier today 2 OCC Board Members, Luanne Strow and Amy Amy Creque Stone presented to a group of nursing students at Mercy College about the Ovarian Cancer Connection, the Omentum Project, and their ovarian cancer connections- one being a cancer survivor, and another from a loved ones perspective. The students seemed very interested and engaged. Hopefully today's presentation will be impactful in their careers and lives.

Thank you for the invitation that allows us to continue to raise awareness.

If your would like a presentation about our organization to a group you are involved with, please reach out to the OCC.
