Ovarian Cancer Connection The OCC has been raising awareness about ovarian and other gynecologic cancers throughout NW Ohio and SE Michigan.

For the women affected by these cancers, we provide resources, education, and financial support. Ovarian Cancer Awareness and Community Support

The Ovarian Cancer Connection (OCC) provides financial assistance to survivors in treatment who are in need of help. An application is available on our website ovarianconnection.org or call 419-866-6622. We also raise awareness by educating the community on the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. We have speakers available should you ever need someone to come talk at a gathering. Donations can be made by visiting our website at ovarianconnection.org. 100% of the money raised will stay local to support women with ovarian or other gynecological cancers, as well as allow us to continue to provide literature to further educate on the symptoms of various gynecological cancers. 4 more days until this year's Ovarian Cancer Connection's Annual Ellen Jackson Memorial Walk at Buckeye Telesystem. We will have our awesome basket raffle like always, and have add three additional raffle items that will have separate tickets.

Those items are an amazing quilt and two beautiful pieces of jewelry. Those three items will be highlighted here on our page.

Today, we want to show all our supporters this "Real Teal" king size quilt made by a daughter of one of our volunteer board members. The quilt is 102.5 x 87.5.

The quilt tickets will be sold for $25 for 5 tickets.

All monies raised supports our gynecologic cancer survivors thru our financial assistance program.

Thank you to those who attended Teal to Toe 5K Saturday. The rain didn't stop us. It was a great event. We are looking forward to the Ellen Jackson Walk this Saturday. There is still time to sign up online or the day of the event. If you have already registered thank you. A non-perishable food item for Nightingale Harvest would be greatly appreciated. The count down is officially underway! The OCC has two walks coming up quickly and we hope that you will be there. Information about both events ca be found on the OCC website at: https://ovarianconnection.org/events/

The first walk Teal to Toe 5K is this Saturday, September 12th at Conner Park in Fremont, Ohio. While the online registration has closed - there will be onsite registration. We hope to see you in Fremont!

The second walk is the OCC's Ellen Jackson Memorial Walk at Buckeye Telesystem at 2700 Oregon Road in Northwood Ohio. There is still time to register online at: https://ovarianconnection.org/event/ellen-jackson-walk/
