🎰We went ALL IN for the grand finale of National Assisted Living Week! Our Viva Las Vegas: Casino Royale brought residents, families, friends, staff, and community partners together for an afternoon of casino games, horse racing, raffles, laughter, and plenty of Vegas-style fun! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

A huge thank you to Ohio Living , Care360 Hospice , Ohioans Home Health & Hospice , Partners in Home Care , Sincere Hospice NW Ohio , and AllCare Pharmacy for donating raffle baskets and prizes, and to Hollywood Casino Toledo for donating two restaurant gift certificates to Final Cut Steakhouse. 🎁 The Lakes of Sylvania] donated chips and dip and helped with Pub refreshments alongside our IL resident Nora, while Kelli from Partners in Home Care also volunteered to run our Chuck-a-Luck dice game. 🎲 A special shoutout to Tim for homemade cookies and helping at our Texas Hold’em table! 🍪

Thank you to our staff and everyone who helped along the way, contributing their time, talents, and generosity to make our Casino Royale finale so special for our residents. What a way to close out Shining Through the Years! 🎰

🪩🎶 We’re continuing our look back at National Assisted Living Week with a little Throwback Thursday fun!

We kicked off the afternoon with Karaoke with Chuck, bringing familiar songs, sing-alongs, dancing, and plenty of opportunities to reminisce through music. 🎤

Then the fun rolled right into our Through the Years Pub Party! Residents enjoyed nostalgic treats, favorite memories, and a colorful throwback photo booth that brought out some great personalities. 😎✨

Thank you Nona Scientific for donating cookies and treats to add some extra sweet to our pub party!

The nostalgia continued with a Throwback Candy Bar filled with favorite treats from years past, giving our residents and our staff a sweet trip down memory lane! 🍬

From familiar songs and sweet memories to some seriously groovy photo ops, Thursday was another fun stop on our Shining Through the Years celebration!

Happy Food Service Day! Today, we take a moment to celebrate and recognize Larina, our incredibly dedicated dietary manager, along with our hardworking cooks, dietary aides, and dishwashers. Thank you for serving the Glass Peaks community every single day, regardless of whether it is raining, shining, sleeting, or snowing. We truly appreciate your commitment and everything you do for us!

🌟🌌 We’re still catching up on sharing all the fun from National Assisted Living Week—and Wednesday was definitely one for the stars!

Our Shine Like a Star celebration brought a little extra sparkle to Glass Peaks with our Star Treatment Station, where staff enjoyed coffee and donuts sponsored by ViaQuest, Inc., flavored waters, cupcakes created by our MC Activity Assistant Johnnie, galaxy star cookies and brownies made by Chris, the wife of one of our MC residents, and special goodie bags our residents helped prepare. 💫

A special thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talents, and generosity to help make the day extra special for our residents and staff! Thank you Ohio Living for providing the galaxy-inspired drinks—the punch was absolutely delicious and the perfect addition to our journey through the stars!

Then we took things out of this world with our “What’s in the Stars for You?” Galaxy Party! From handmade galaxy-inspired balloon art created by our MCD, Cortney, to cosmic treats and a fun visit with our astrologer, residents enjoyed plenty of laughs as we explored what the stars might have to say. 🔮✨

It was a day filled with appreciation, connection, and a little celestial magic—and another fun chapter in our Shining Through the Years celebration. 💜

🎨✨ Tuesday was all about adding a little more color to our world!

Day two of National Assisted Living Week brought creativity, memories, and plenty of color to Glass Peaks with our Shining Through the Years: Art Show & Treasures Gallery.

Our residents proudly shared artwork, handmade creations, treasured collections, and special pieces that each came with a story of their own. 💜 It was wonderful seeing those stories shared, admired, and celebrated by others.

🌈 Our team joined in for Color Our World Day, complete with bright attire and a colorful candy & treat bar as another little thank-you for everything they do!

Our residents even helped prepare special goodie bags for our staff to enjoy the following day—a sweet way for them to be part of showing appreciation to the team that cares for them.

Because at Glass Peaks, every piece has a story—and every person brings a little more color to our community. ✨

We joyfully kicked off National Assisted Living Week by hosting a wonderful Grandparent's Day celebration. We truly recognize how incredibly vital grandparents are in helping shape and guide our future generations. Everyone had an absolute blast enjoying our delicious sundae bar and laughing while getting custom caricatures drawn! It was a memorable day celebrating the special role our residents play.

🎒 We kicked off National Assisted Living Week with a little school spirit—and a whole lot of guessing!

Our Guess Who? Staff Baby Picture Challenge had everyone studying the board and trying to match those adorable little faces with the Glass Peaks team members they know today.👶

We also showed our team some A+ appreciation with nostalgic school-lunch snacks, while staff joined the fun for Back to School Day! 🍎📚

And no reveal party is complete without something sweet! 🧁 One of our talented kitchen team members made these adorable baby-themed cupcakes for our afternoon reveal in the Pub.
