A heartfelt thank you to The Note Ables for another wonderful lunchtime concert at the Senior Center yesterday! 🎶

Our guests enjoyed an outstanding performance featuring a fantastic selection of songs, including favorites like Sweet Caroline, Stand By Me, and Take a Chance on Me, just to name a few. The music had everyone singing along and brought so much joy to the afternoon.

We would also like to thank our amazing volunteers for preparing and serving a delicious lunch, and everyone who joined us for this special event. Your support and participation help make these gatherings so meaningful.

If you missed yesterday's performance, be sure to mark your calendars! The Note Ables will be back for their next concert on September 13th. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our Seniors with Thyme program continues to bring wonderful flavors and great company to the kitchen!

A big thank you to Human Services Case Manager & Certified Prevention Specialist, Jillian Fiddler, for joining us today and sharing her delicious “Marry Me” Trader Joe’s bake. It was a fantastic dish, enjoyed by all!

We’re excited to announce our next class will be held on Thursday, June 25 at 10:30 AM, and we are thrilled to welcome Andrea Cipollini, who will be joining us to demonstrate how to make her beautiful Linzer Torte.

The Tolland Senior Center was honored to welcome CT State Comptroller Sean Scanlon and State Representative Tammy Nuccio for a fun and informative visit today! Residents learned more about ArrayRx, the state-sponsored, no-cost prescription discount card helping Connecticut residents save money on medications — but not before Sean and Tammy stopped by some of our favorite activities, including dominoes and even a line dancing lesson!

Thank you both for taking the time to connect with our seniors and community members. We appreciate the conversation, the laughs, and the helpful information. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Tolland Senior Center again soon!

Join us on Wednesday, April 29th at 2:30 PM for a special Afternoons with Lincoln featuring students from the Tolland High School Botany Club!

Spend a relaxing and creative afternoon building your own personalized terrarium using soil, colorful pebbles, and baby succulent plants propagated by the students themselves. Participants will also have the option to add small crystals to create a unique and beautiful design to take home.

Enjoy light refreshments, connect with local students, and soak in all the positive energy, with Lincoln there to lend a paw and brighten the day.

We can’t thank Big Y Tolland enough for their continued dedication to our community and their valued partnership. They sent two amazing volunteer teams to Human Services, where they helped with events and projects at both the Tolland Senior Center and the Human Services Office.

Their teams were incredibly hardworking, kind, and enthusiastic- we truly appreciate all of their help and support. Our community is stronger because of partners like you! 👏

We were so grateful to celebrate and honor our incredible volunteers during National Volunteer Appreciation Week at our Volunteer Appreciation Brunch, hosted at the Senior Center 💛

We can’t thank our volunteers enough for their ongoing dedication and the time and talents they so generously give to our community.
