The Maricopa County Democratic Party stands in support of Vice President Kamala Harris as the nominee of the Democratic Party. We are unified in our support and urge county parties and legislative districts across the State of Arizona to join us.

Throughout his decades of public service, President Biden has demonstrated that leadership starts with putting the country first above all else. He understands what’s at stake for the future of our country and the imperative of winning this election. Joe Biden will go down in history as one of our most consequential Presidents ever.

We have a vibrant, experienced leader in Harris – a successful Attorney General, United States Senator, and Vice President. She brings significant accomplishments, a deep knowledge of the law, experience dealing with complex domestic and foreign policy issues, and is acutely focused on the danger to democracy posed by another Donald Trump term.

The choice between Harris and Trump could not be clearer. Former President Trump, a convicted felon, offers Arizona and America an extreme, dark, and dystopian self-centered agenda bent on taking away our rights and liberties. Vice President Kamala Harris is a seasoned and successful prosecutor who will take the case to the American people and protect our freedoms, defend our Democracy, strengthen our economy, protect reproductive rights, lower prescription drug prices, expand health care accessibility, and fight for American workers and families.

It is often said, “This is the most important election of our lifetimes.” With democracy on the line and the future of free and fair elections on the ballot, truer words could not be said for the 2024 election. We feel that Vice President Kamala Harris is the only choice for President in November.
