Interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement? 🚔

The Tolleson Police Youth Cadet Program gives young people ages 14–18 the opportunity to learn about the criminal justice system through hands-on training, practical experiences, competitions and other activities. The program is designed to build confidence, encourage personal growth and promote leadership, good citizenship and respect for the law.

Join us for the Youth Cadet Orientation Meeting:

Students must attend with a guardian. There is no cost to participate in the program.

Civic Center Reopening Update

The City of Tolleson Civic Center will reopen to the public on Monday, August 10.

The Library, Passport Services, CAP/Housing, Finance/Utility Services, and City Administration offices will resume regular operations.

The Senior Center will remain temporarily closed through Sunday, August 16, and is expected to reopen Monday, August 17, as an additional precaution for our senior community.

During the Senior Center closure, the City will continue working to ensure essential services for our senior residents are maintained.

We appreciate the community’s patience, understanding, and cooperation as we continue taking appropriate precautions to protect our residents, employees, and visitors.

El Centro Cívico de la Ciudad de Tolleson reabrirá al público el lunes 10 de agosto.

Temporary Closure Notice

The City has been notified of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the Senior Center, located adjacent to the Library.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Tolleson Civic Center is temporarily closed while thorough cleaning and disinfection are completed.

The facility is expected to reopen on Monday, August 10.

We appreciate the community’s understanding and cooperation as we take these precautionary measures to help protect the health and safety of our employees, residents, and visitors.

🏈 Get ready for Youth Flag Football in Tolleson!

Tolleson Parks and Recreation invites young athletes to join our fun and recreational co-ed youth flag football league. It is a great opportunity for participants to learn the game, build confidence, stay active, and make new friends.

League Details
📅 Season: September 21–November 21
📝 Registration: August 5–September 14
💲 Fees: $40 for Tolleson residents | $50 for non-residents
📍 Location: Arizona Desert Elementary School

Age Divisions
• 6–7 years old
• 8–10 years old
• 11–13 years old

Registration includes:
• Seven Saturday games
• Weekly practices scheduled by the coach
• Team jersey
• Team photo

Spots fill quickly, so be sure to register early and secure your player’s place on the field!
