Tolono Park District Founded in 1975, our mission is to enrich the lives of our community and foster a sense of community, wellness, and recreation.

We offer three parks in Tolono: West Side Park, East Side Park, and Shipley Park. We have 3 parks in Tolono, yes 3! There is West Side with all of our baseball diamonds, Shipley with some playground equipment and a basketball court, and East Side which is home to the Soccer fields and is in progress of getting grants to improve. West Side being the main park here also offers 2 lighted tennis court

s, 1 lighted basketball court, 2 pavilions available to be rented for parties or other events, 3 baseball diamonds (Small Diamond, Big Diamond, and Mary Kate Fied) all of which are lighted, a concessions stand, 1 gazebo also able to be rented, an enclose tots play area, a larger play ground for the older children, a smaller play area for the younger children, Also West Side is home to the Tolono Fun Day held the last weekend in June every year, and so much more! The park does close at Dusk, please cooperate with any law enforcement / park employees at all times, to talk with someone at the park you can talk with any employee on duty or call someone from contact page and we will handle your situation the best we can.

What may look like โ€œjust a pile of dirtโ€ to some means so much more to our Park District! Every load of material, every hour volunteered, and every act of kindness helps us continue improving our parks for the community.

A ๐‡๐”๐†๐„ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐ฅ๐ž๐ฒ for donating the excess dirt from their yard project. Not only did they allow us to use it, but they also went above and beyond by securing a truck to move it and helping with the loading and unloading. With plenty of holes around the park needing attention, this donation will make a big difference!

We also want to thank ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐„๐ซ๐ข๐œ for jumping in and helping with the loading and unloading. It truly takes a village of volunteers and supporters to make improvements like this possible.

We are incredibly grateful for a commUNITY that continues to step up and support our parks. ๐Ÿ’š
