The second of two planned public information meetings by the Nokomis Med 4 Housing Committee will be held on Thursday, September 10, at 6PM at the Nokomis Fire Station, 2675 County Road L.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Nokomis will hold a public meeting on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 9:00 A.M.

Location: Nokomis Fire Department, 2675 County L, Tomahawk, WI 54487

Purpose: To review, discuss, and consider action on a proposed building addition for housing ambulance/Med 4 employees at the Nokomis Fire Department located at 2675 County L, Tomahawk, WI 54487. The proposal includes a 1,700 sq ft. addition to the fire station.

Public Input: All interested persons or residents will be given a chance to speak or submit comments regarding the proposed addition. Copies of the floor plan are on file and available for public inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.

Due to the town hall being set up for the primary election this Tuesday, August 11, the August Town of Nokomis Board Meeting will be held on Monday, August 17, at 6PM.

Primary election poll hours on Tuesday are 7AM - 8PM.
