$53,147 is going to work in Old Town Tomball.

This grant will reimburse the Heart of Tomball Alliance for seven events, regional advertising, and a dedicated visitor shuttle during their hosted events through 2027. The TEDC Board approved this collaboration with the Heart of Tomball Alliance to support the interests of local merchants and enhance the visitor experience of Old Town Tomball.

The Alliance continues to drive foot traffic, directly support approximately 36 local businesses, and create memorable experiences through events like Shop & Strolls, a fashion show, & purse bingo. Old Town has the energy. This investment helps sustain it.

June 11-12, 2026 the Tomball Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) Board of Directors, Tomball City Council Members, and steering committee came together for a two-day strategic planning workshop. The discussions were engaging, candid, and focused on aligning goals to ensure sustainable growth, economic vitality, and long-term success for the Tomball community.

Parking in Tomball?

The mission for Tomball Economic Development Corporation is to promote economic development in the City of Tomball through the attraction of new business and industry and the retention of existing businesses by providing the resources that enhance the general well-being of the community. In support of this mission, TEDC hosted another Parking & Mobility Study - Committee Meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026.

This meeting is part of our efforts to improve access and connectivity in Old Town through parking and mobility planning, aligning with Goal 3 of the 2025-2026 Strategic Work Plan.

We're excited to introduce John Kelley as TEDC's new Marketing and Communications Manager. John spent eleven years serving Tomball as a firefighter and paramedic before bringing his community roots and marketing background to our team. He and his family have called the Tomball area home since 2010.
